What is CBCT in Media PA?

Our Media PA dental office has the ability to take 3D images of your mouth, jaw, teeth, and airway. Better known as a Dental Cone Bean Computer Tomograph (CBCT), it is a helpful tool when trying to evaluate if you have an infection, when planning for an implant, assess your airway in the case of sleep apnea, and rule out pathology. The scan takes less than a minute and is localized to the area we are evaluating.
