Dentist

Alice Bassani DMD

Dr. Bassani is excited to be a part of the Media community and return to her roots in Delaware County. After spending over 10 years in Philadelphia she is grateful to now consider this area home.

Dr. Bassani attended Emory University in Atlanta, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a minor in Global Health. Her research projects in polymer chemistry led her to discover an interest in dentistry. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania with honors in both Clinical Dentistry and Radiological Sciences. She was awarded the International College of Dentists Humanitarian Award and the Eisa Mozaffari Award in Radiology.

Upon graduating, Dr. Bassani continued her training by completing a General Practice Residency at the Lehigh Valley Health Network – Muhlenberg Hospital. She gained extensive training in restorative and surgical treatments, in addition to the medical management of patients.

She continues to stay up-to-date by attending courses, study clubs, and collaborating with colleagues to provide her patients with the best comprehensive care. She had been honored to be voted one of Philadelphia’s Top Dentist since 2019 by her colleagues.

On top of delivering exceptional results, Dr Bassani values establishing genuine and long-lasting relationships with her patients. Creating a comfortable environment where her patients feel informed and engaged in their oral health is her main priority. Dr. Bassani takes the time to meticulously design treatment to meet your individual needs and expectations.

Outside of the office, Dr. Bassani enjoys spending time with her husband, Tom, and trying to keep up with their two children Will and Colette. On the weekends she prioritizes being outside and staying active. She is passionate about food and enjoys trying new restaurants and recipes.

Dental Assistant

Michele

With over 40 years of experience in dentistry, she is dedicated to creating a comfortable, safe, and positive experience for every patient who walks through the door. Her passion for dentistry continues to grow as the field evolves, and she values ongoing learning to provide the highest level of care.

She believes that building trust and helping patients feel at ease is just as important as clinical excellence. Her friendly, approachable nature and sense of humor help patients relax, even if a visit to the dentist makes them nervous.

Outside of the office, she is a devoted wife of 31 years, a proud mother of three, and a loving grandmother to one grandson, with a granddaughter on the way. Family is at the heart of everything she does, and she cherishes time spent with her large, close-knit family.

In her free time, she enjoys cheering on Philadelphia sports, especially baseball, along with singing (a little off-key!) and sharing laughter with those around her.

Dental Hygienist

Sarah

Sarah is a passionate dental hygienist with over 10 years of experience. She combines clinical expertise with a personalized, patient-centered approach. Her goal is to make sure that you are comfortable throughout your appointment and that you have the tools you need to maintain good oral health at home.

Whether it’s your first visit in years or you’re a regular, she’s here to support you without judgment and with plenty of encouragement along the way.

Having been raised in a family of 7, she’s adept at cultivating a warm, familiar rapport with all types of personalities. Sarah enjoys building relationships with her patients and making your dental cleaning a pleasant experience.

Sarah loves living a walkable distance from downtown Media with her husband and two sons, where they frequent parks and love walking their dog, Luna.

Tara

Tara has worked in the dental field since graduating high school in 2008. She started out as a dental assistant and gradually moved into a managerial role. Tara prides herself on her knowledge and thoroughness, and is always willing to go the extra mile for her patients.
